I admire art because it makes me feel something. I think the hallmark of a great artist is that you feel something when seeing their art. It may be sadness, frustration, inspiration, relaxation but there is always a feeling when I see art. Dr. Mitchell’s art comes straight from a higher source. I had been stalking her art for months since I learned of her and when I was able to be lucky to have it in my house it did not lack any amazement in person. In person you can see the beautiful blend of colors and how effortlessly they blend and flow with each other. The combinations, sparkle and glitter have a harmony that cannot be taught but flow effortlessly. I feel tranquility, inspiration, a lightness of my spirit when I look at her art in my home. This blanket is super soft and cute! I originally purchased for my daughter, but I kept it for me! I went back and ordered 2 more. One fore my daughter and the other I gifted to my co-worker’s daughter. Thank you for creating something adults can enjoy along with their kids.
